FranConnect introduced Franchise Scorecards to give franchise operations teams a clearer view of unit health and help field teams focus on the biggest opportunities affecting unit-level performance.
Preparing for a franchise field visit can otherwise require hours of pulling information from multiple systems, reconciling data, and trying to understand how one location compares with its peers.
A More Actionable View of Unit Health
Franchise Scorecards were designed to give Franchise Business Consultants actionable information before and during coaching conversations. The goal is to connect goals, insights, and actions through better information sharing, centralization, transparency, and accountability.
The two product screenshots in the original article were hosted on external HubSpot assets rather than in staging Media. Those image dependencies have been removed while the full feature story remains intact.
Compare the KPIs That Matter
Franchise Scorecards can aggregate information from field visits, POS systems, loyalty programs, surveys, and self-assessments so an FBC can quickly identify the largest areas of opportunity.
By comparing a defined set of key performance indicators against peer averages, field teams can move beyond intuition and use data to guide the coaching conversation.
Turn Insight Into Action
FBCs can use the Scorecard as a guide to compare one location with the broader system or a relevant subset of locations, then translate the findings into goals for the franchisee’s business plan.
If a KPI is weak, the consultant can coach the franchisee directly, point them toward relevant training, or use connected operational tools to assign tasks and playbooks that address the issue.
Early Customer Feedback
“Incorporating FranConnect’s Franchise Scorecards had an immediate positive impact on our brand. This capability allowed the team to compare the business in a new light by pulling together data from previously disparate systems and boiling it down into a concise view of performance based on our KPIs.”
Tony Caballero, CFE, Senior Vice President of Operations at Walk-On’s Sports Bistreaux
Caballero said the feedback from field teams and franchisees was overwhelmingly positive and that the platform gave both groups a more useful view of performance.
Franchise Scorecards were part of a broader set of operations-focused capabilities designed to support more consistent field coaching and performance improvement.
