SYDNEY — May 24, 2023 — FranConnect announced its expansion into Australia, New Zealand, and the broader APAC market, extending its global footprint following the acquisition of World Manager.
A central part of the expansion was the appointment of Paul Sharpe as General Manager, A/NZ. Sharpe joined the executive management team with responsibility for go-to-market strategy, sales, customer success, and growth of FranConnect product lines across the region.

Before joining FranConnect, Sharpe held senior leadership roles at Nexon, IBM, Samsung, and NTT, with experience spanning sales, product, marketing, business operations, transformation, and acquisition integration.

FranConnect’s platform supports franchise and multi-location businesses across onboarding and training, operations and compliance, lead generation, performance analytics, and other lifecycle processes.
At the time of the announcement, customers in Australia included brands such as Nike, Billabong, Domino’s, Nando’s, Gloria Jean’s Coffees, Hungry Jack’s, and Ben & Jerry’s.
